CANINE EDUCATION
More and more of us are deciding to share our lives with these wonderful animals that are dogs. Over the centuries, dogs have been constantly evolving with the sole purpose of adapting to our way of life. Their extraordinary social abilities make this easier for them. Therefore, we tend to limit ourselves to providing them with a rudimentary education, based on basic rules of hygiene and obedience, that allow us to establish an acceptable coexistence. In this way, we neglect their full potential in the cognitive and emotional realm. The classic educational models that we have assumed as a society have been replicating an interventionist nature where the teacher lectures the student on what the correct answer is instead of providing them with the necessary tools to be able to find it out (or not) themselves.
Capicua works based on the cognitive-emotional training method that moves away from the more traditional models based on behaviorism (reward-punishment), seeking to delve deeper into the cognitive and emotional processes that underpin behaviors. We are interested in enhancing the dog's capabilities in all its dimensions (physical, emotional, social and cognitive) and providing it with tools that help it solve problems and face conceptual learning. The tutor is a fundamental part of the emotional and social aspect of teaching, since the bond that we build between him and his dog will be the common thread of all processes.
A well-mannered dog has more cognitive resources to respond to stimuli, which allows it to better self-manage situations and emotions.

Introduction to behavior learning
Intensive program that establishes the relational foundations between the tutor and his dog to learn together the essential behaviors of sitting/lying down, waiting, coming and walking together. We will learn the protocols and training structures that will take us to the first phases of understanding the behaviors.

Communication and bonding with your dog
Program designed for guardians who seek to strengthen the social and emotional bond with their dog. We will work on two-way communication and mutual trust, which are the foundations for building a harmonious relationship. We will train skills such as empathy, attunement and assertiveness.
