BEHAVIOR MODIFICATION
Dogs, like people, react to stimuli of a certain level of intensity, generating an emotion that can be positive or negative. In some cases, this emotion is responsible for responding behaviorally to the stimulus or situation that generated it, preventing the dog from a more cognitive process. The iteration of the negative emotional response can generate footprints that will end up having an impact on its autonomy and well-being. The behaviors that the dog performs, derived from this negative emotional response, are completely subordinate to the emotion; a scared dog reacts by fleeing, attacking or immobilizing itself, an anxious dog will seek comfort by gnawing on everything it can or barking and crying non-stop. Fear, separation anxiety, aggression and stress are the negative emotional processes that our dogs most often suffer from. Although they have different names (thanks to our eagerness to label), they are structurally very similar processes: the dog performs behaviors, with the instruments at its disposal, in response to exposure to a stimulus. It is precisely here that we can help it; by giving it more options to choose from, providing it with experiences where, within an emotionally safe environment, it can successfully emerge from a challenging situation, offering alternative solutions.
Typically, therapies that work on emotional management problems such as fear and aggression are very complicated for the tutor and their dog to face. Capicua's programs are designed so that the work sessions have a playful, dynamic and entertaining component that facilitates the process and increases its effectiveness. We train the dog's "emotional muscles" in controlled and safe situations that will give it a greater chance of success when overcoming future problematic events.
Programs
No fear
Special program of
micromanagement of the por
This extensive program is designed to empower your dog by providing him with tools to gradually overcome challenges. A brave dog is one that dares to face his fears.
The sessions have a playful and challenging component that has a positive impact on the emotional state of the dog and the tutor during the practices. At the same time, by working mostly outside of the specific situations that activate the fear, we achieve results without the risk of causing an emotional impact on the dog.

I think, then I act.
Emotional and behavioral management
Program that combines different techniques that work on the emotional health of the dog. We develop the capacities of self-control, emotional stability, resilience and stress management. We provide the dog with healthy social relationships.
We include sensory stimulation exercises that act as an "emotional gym" where the dog trains skills that can be transferred to future problematic events where high peaks of emotion are activated.
